Castle Court Wealth Management is a firm of financial advisors based in Cardiff, South Wales. Starting life as an a stand alone firm, they recently became a partner firm in a bigger organisation. Halo was asked to make a film telling their story of transition, from independent to being part of a larger group.
Castle Court Wealth Management is a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management. Five years after setting up, Castle Court had to make a decision about how to grow and take their company forward. As the global financial crisis hit their options were to sell, merge, stay alone or join with St. James’s Place. Our film is a personal account of the journey Castle Court went on, from the realisation that client time was being squeezed by the increasing burden of financial regulation, to the feeling of security that comes from being Partners with the highly respected firm.
We filmed interviews with the three Directors of Castle Court, as well as an interview with an Executive Director of St. James’s Place. Castle Court are based in Cardiff and in order to bring their home town to life, the Halo team shot tilt-shift style shots from tall buildings as well as iconic shots of Cardiff Bay. We also filmed the Directors of Castle Court on a round of golf with clients in the sumptuous Celtic Manor resort near Newport.
