British Cycling is the governing body of cycle racing and sport in the UK. Its coaching is the envy of the world, being behind the success of some Britain’s greatest sporting achievements over the past decade. Riders like Bradley Wiggins, Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Mark Cavendish, Laura Trott, Joanna Rowsel, Chris Frome, Geriant Thomas and many more have consistently performed on the world stage, winning countless Olympic Gold medals and three editions of the world’s biggest annual sporting event, The Tour De France.

Their secret has been hard work and dedicated, professional coaching back up. The attitude that brings elite success runs throughout the whole sport. British Cycling provides grass root coaching to over 100,000 members.  As part of their continual development British Cycling needed a series of coach education films. The “Roller Riding” films are aimed at coaches, giving them a resource to teach cyclists how to ride rollers, a technical but very useful bit of cycling kit.

Halo used its experience, both making cycling films and cycle coaching (Peter Georgi is a successful cycle coach) to create 3 films that give precise instruction through the images and the commentary. British Cycling are making them a central part of their coach education process.
